Minecraft: Story Mode Coming to Wii U on January 21
Telltale Games will release Minecraft: Story Mode on the Wii U on January 21. The episodic game appeared on many other platforms last October, but will be released this week for Nintendo’s console.
Although the first four episodes are already available for other platforms, the Wii U version will have to make do with only the first episode temporarily: Episode 1: The Order of the Stone. The rest will follow in the period after the introduction of Minecraft: Story Mode for the Wii U.
The game has already been released for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 iOS and Android. Players can purchase an episode from the eShop for $5 or purchase a Season Pass for $20. Which entitles you to download episodes 2 to 5.
Mojang and Telltale announced Minecraft: Story Mode in December of 2014. The story revolves around Jesse, who can be either female or male. Gamers can choose from three different models, for both men and women.
