Microsoft announced during E3 that Minecraft Dungeons will be released in Spring 2020. Last year, Mojang and Microsoft claimed that the game would be released in 2019, but Minecraft Dungeons has been postponed.

In addition to announcing the launch period of Minecraft Dungeons in Spring 2020, Microsoft is releasing a gameplay trailer for the game. Minecraft Dungeons is a top-down dungeon crawler for four players that can play locally or online in co-op.

The game also contains ‘hack & slash’ elements, as can be concluded from the video. Players must navigate dungeons, forests and underground lava worlds, defeating opponents and collecting treasure. The game will be available for Windows, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and the PlayStation 4.
