Minecraft Dungeons coming to PC and consoles in April 2020
Minecraft Dungeons will be released in April next year. The top-down dungeon crawler will then be available for PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. An exact release date has not yet been announced.
Microsoft and Mojang show a short video stating that the game will be released in April. There are no new images or other details. Players can register on the Minecraft website to be kept informed and to be eligible for early access. It is not yet known when that early access period will start.
The Minecraft spin-off was announced in 2018 and should have been released in 2019. This year’s E3 revealed that the game was delayed; the makers then spoke of a release in the spring of 2020. Now that has been made a little more concrete and the month in which the game will be released has been announced.
Minecraft Dungeons is a dungeon crawler with hack ‘n slash elements for four players. You can play together locally and online. The game will cost about twenty euros and there will be a Hero version with season pass for thirty euros.
