Microsoft’s support site claims April 2018 update is coming to Windows Phones
Microsoft has put a support site online stating that Windows 10 Mobile is eligible for the Windows 10 April 2018 Update. It is not known which Windows Phones can receive the update.
The page has been updated on April 30, 2018 and explicitly mentions that users can get the Windows 10 Mobile April 2018 Update. “The April Update includes additional features and improvements for your Windows 10 phone,” it continues.
There is a link to the more information page, but it hasn’t been updated and only mentions which devices can get the Creators Fall Creators update. Attempts by Softpedia to get the update with a Lumia 950 XL, HP Elite X3 and an Alcatel IDOL 4S have so far failed.
That page for the Windows 10 Mobile April Update is striking. Microsoft announced at the beginning of this year that it was no longer working on Insider Builds for Windows 10 Mobile and last October it became clear that the company is no longer working on new functionality for the OS. According to Windows Latest, who discovered the page, it could be an error.
