Microsoft to release Windows 11 version 22H2 on September 20th

Windows 11 22H2 is said to be released on September 20. The next major version of the operating system has been under testing among Insiders for several months now, introducing new security options, improved task management, and some visual tweaks.

Microsoft is releasing Windows 11 22H2, known internally as Sun Valley 2, according to sources from both The Verge if Windows Central out in a little over a month. As of yet, Microsoft has not announced an official release date. H2 updates usually always come out in the fall. For example, Windows 10 received an H2 update in October and November for the past two years.

The upcoming version 22H2 is the first major major update to Windows 11 since the release of the operating system. It is already known from previous preview versions that, among other things, a new task manager is coming. Functionally, the screen remains the same, but as far as the interface is concerned, Microsoft has changed a lot. Dark mode will also be supported for the screen in question.

The start menu is also being addressed, including support for folders with app shortcuts. In addition, with the upcoming update, users can open files in apps by dragging them onto the taskbar icon. The taskbar also gets an overflow function. The update also brings new security features and improvements to the operating system, as well as some new accessibility options, revamped gestures and animations for tablet users, and several minor tweaks to the interface and design of the operating system.
