Microsoft to introduce personalized Xbox controllers in Europe this summer
Microsoft has announced that it plans to launch its Xbox Design Lab service in European countries this summer. The service is now available in a number of countries, including Germany, the UK and France.
The service was already available in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico, Microsoft said. The European countries are now added. Microsoft has also added several personalization options, bringing the number of combinations to choose from over a billion. Underneath are four new colors and black rubber grips.
The Design Lab allows you to personalize Xbox wireless controllers by customizing various components. Customizable parts include the front and back housing, the d-pad and the various buttons including the triggers and bumpers. It is also possible to provide the controller with your own engraving. Microsoft says it will ship made-to-order controllers within 14 business days. A custom controller has a minimum price of 79.99 euros, according to the German site.
