Microsoft is working on a feature in the Teams video calling software that will soon allow Premium users to generate their own backgrounds via Dall-E. The company wants to roll out the AI function in November.

These free users can only use the backgrounds for announcements in Teams channels. The company mentions that the features will be rolled out in November. It is not clear on which day.

Microsoft Teams Premium was launched in February 2023. The service includes a range of AI tools such as automatic transcriptions and translations during a video calling session, the ability to automatically create tasks and divide recorded conversations into chapters. Teams Premium costs 6.60 euros per month.
