Microsoft Teams Premium users will soon be able to generate AI backgrounds
Microsoft is working on a feature in the Teams video calling software that will soon allow Premium users to generate their own backgrounds via Dall-E. The company wants to roll out the AI function in November.
Out a blog post from Microsoft it also appears that regular Teams users will soon be able to create custom backgrounds. It is not clear whether this function also works with artificial intelligence. These free users can only use the backgrounds for announcements in Teams channels. The company mentions that the features will be rolled out in November. It is not clear on which day.
Microsoft Teams Premium was launched in February 2023. The service includes a range of AI tools such as automatic transcriptions and translations during a video calling session, the ability to automatically create tasks and divide recorded conversations into chapters. Teams Premium costs 6.60 euros per month.
