Microsoft shows teaser of screenshot function Xbox One

Microsoft’s Xbox CEO Phil Spencer has shown a screenshot of an upcoming update to the Xbox One interface. The update adds a long-awaited option to the menu to save screenshots.

Phil Spencer late know glad he can finally take screenshots on his Xbox One devkit. With his tweet, he shows the menu in which that option is incorporated. It can be seen that the menu that appears when pressing the home button twice will give players an extra option to click ‘Y’ if they want to take a screenshot.

The screenshot feature was one of the most frequently mentioned suggestions at Xbox Feedback. However, the implementation took a long time, because according to Microsoft, the functionality was more difficult to integrate than expected. Microsoft will soon announce more about the functionality, Phil Spencer promises.
