Many Microsoft services are experiencing issues that prevent users from logging into their accounts. Outlook and Xbox Live, among others, are experiencing login issues. It is the second time in a month that Microsoft services have experienced such an outage.

Users of Outlook, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Windows Store, among others, experience problems logging in. Microsoft confirms the outages on the status pages of Skype, Xbox Live, Outlook and Azure. The outage started around 6:30 am.

As far as Azure is concerned, the problems seem to be limited to logging in to Stream Analytics and Log Analytics. The other services appear to be functioning properly. About Xbox Live, the company says, “Our engineers and developers are actively seeking a solution to address the issue some members are experiencing with searching for pre-purchased content or purchasing new content.”

Microsoft reports that it will check the logs to analyze what the cause is and how the problems can be solved. It is not known how long it takes before users can log in again. It’s the second time in a month that Microsoft has faced problems logging into accounts.
