Microsoft rolls back changes to experimental Xbox interface
Microsoft will roll back the changes it made to the experimental version of the Xbox interface. The company says test users want more visual space for the background image and find it too busy.
Ivy Krislov, a senior product manager at Xbox, states in a blog post that the experiments, as far as the Xbox user interface is concerned, will be put on pause for the time being and that new updates will be released soon. It is not clear what changes these updates will bring.
Users who signed up for the trial versions of the Xbox UI will soon be transitioned back to the traditional user interface. Microsoft released another update for Xbox consoles in April that would make the search function in the Xbox environment easier to use. The search results are now displayed in a gallery style.
