Microsoft releases wired Xbox One controller for PC
Microsoft has announced the Xbox One Controller for Windows, a wired version of the regular Xbox One gamepad. The controller is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8.x, and connects to a PC via USB.
The USB cable of the Xbox One Controller for Windows can be disconnected, so that the controller can also be used wirelessly with the Xbox One. A USB connection to the console is also possible. Microsoft has not yet announced a wireless receiver for the PC, so a wired connection is necessary.
Microsoft asks for the controller in the US an amount of 59.95 dollars, converted 46 euros. The company has not yet released a price for Europe. The Xbox One Controller for Windows should be available in November.
