Microsoft releases Windows 10 build with mail and calendar program
Microsoft has released the next build of the preview version of Windows 10. Build 10061 includes a new e-mail and calendar management program. Also, a black theme is now available in Windows 10.
Users in the Fast Ring have been receiving the update since Wednesday evening, Microsoft reports. The Fast Ring users get updates quickly with the risk of many bugs. The new programs called Mail and Calendar have support for syncing with accounts from a variety of sources, including Exchange, Office 365, Gmail, and Yahoo.
The black theme in Windows 10 changes the color of the start menu, taskbar and Action Center. In addition, the start menu and taskbar can now be made transparent. The build also contains bugs. For example, some programs do not start from the start menu. Searching for the program and then clicking on it works just like starting from the taskbar.
The update for the preview version of Windows 10 comes a week before Microsoft holds its Build conference, where it may announce more about the features and the release of Windows 10. According to AMD, Windows 10 will be released at the end of July.
