Microsoft plans to make Xbox Game Pass available for PC. It is still unknown what form the PC version of the subscription will take, from which date it will be available and how much it will cost.

During a conference call, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced the plan to bring the subscription to the PC. The underlying reason is probably the success of the Xbox Game Pass. It is already possible to play some Game Pass games on PC when selecting the Play Anywhere option, such as Sea of Thieves. However, the selection of games under that option is not as extensive as the library on the console. Currently, the Xbox Game Pass costs 9.99 euros per month. Subscribers will then have unlimited access to a library of more than a hundred games.

Xbox One services and software sales increased 36 percent from the same quarter in 2017. According to the report, the sales increase in the Xbox division is primarily due to sales of third-party titles such as PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Overall sales of the games division increased by 44 percent compared to the same period a year earlier, according to the quarterly figures.
