Microsoft makes Windows 10 21H1 available for business validation
Microsoft has made 21H1 for Windows 10 available for commercial pre-release validation by business users. This already gives certain business users a look at the update, which contains virtually no new features.
Business users can get Windows 10 version 21H1 from Windows Update, Windows Server Update Services and Azure Marketplace, or download the ISO. This does not concern systems that run Windows 10 Home, but, for example, the business versions that are managed via IT departments or that fall under a volume license.
Microsoft reports that 21H1 is delivered via an enablement package when upgraded from Windows 10 version 2004 or 20H2, and emphasizes the speed and small amount of downtime that would accompany this. Upgrades from earlier versions take longer.
Windows 10 version 21H1 is a small cumulative update, Microsoft announced itself in February. When general availability will follow is not known, but based on previous years, Microsoft could start large-scale distribution in May.
