Windows 10 Insider Preview Issue 14367 for PC and Mobile has been released for Fast Ring participants. The Settings application contains a new tool that should make it easier to perform a clean Windows 10 installation.

The tool installs a clean copy of the most recent version of Windows 10 and removes all applications that were on the PC. The total Windows 10 image to be downloaded is 3GB. Microsoft writes this in an Answers blog post. Furthermore, the Answers blog states that all software that is not included by default with Windows 10, such as bloatware, will be removed. This also applies to packages such as Office. In addition, all third-party drivers and supporting applications are removed and recovery is not possible.

Various improvements have also been made, such as Cortana notifications that should sync faster between different devices and direct responses to notifications from a PC should work better.

With Windows 10 Mobile, the Kids Corner will be removed from the Anniversary Update. It was used too little. Some options from the Kids Corner can be set via the Apps Corner, such as setting certain access restrictions for certain applications. For example, it is possible to set up a separate profile for children in which only certain programs are visible.
