Microsoft introduces the Surface Hub 2
Microsoft introduced the Surface Hub 2 yesterday. This new Surface Hub is fully designed for use by teams: to get people out of their seats, to connect and inspire, regardless of their location.
- A 4K + 50.5 “multi-touch screen that leverages the power of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Whiteboard, Office 365, Windows 10 and the intelligent cloud.
- 4K cameras that move with the device, integrated speakers and microphone technology for larger rooms, giving everyone the feeling that they are in the same room as the rest of the group.
- An aspect ratio of 3×2.
- Multi-user login: this option allows several people to register in the same Surface Hub 2 environment so that they have access to their documents and ideas at the same time, and can combine them with those of their teammates.
Four screens
Up to four Surface Hub 2 screens can be linked together in portrait – or landscape orientation Dynamic rotation allows teams to use the most optimal orientation for their specific application.
The Surface Hub 2 is also easy to move: we worked with Steelcase to create a system of mobile stands and user-friendly wall mountings, making the Surface Hub 2 mobile and flexible.
Available in 2019
The Surface Hub 2 will be available in 2019. More information can be found via the Surface Hub 2 blog by Panos Panay, Chief Product Officer Microsoft.
