Members can be added to a community via email, a telephone number, a QR code or a link.

Microsoft focuses with the function on productivity of groups or communities and also added some management options for group administrators. They can set guidelines and moderate content by removing users or posts.

The Communities feature is available for the free Teams iOS and Android app. Microsoft states that the feature will also be available for desktop users ‘soon’.
