Microsoft hints at Surface Mini tablet coming on May 20
Microsoft has sent out invites to the press for an event on May 20 that will involve the company’s Surface tablets. The text on the invitation speaks of a ‘small gathering’, with which the company seems to hint at the long-awaited arrival of the Surface Mini tablet.
American media have received invitations that read ‘Join us for a small gathering’. The event will take place on May 20. Mashable, among others, expects the long-awaited Surface Mini to be introduced during the event.
This small tablet with Windows has been rumored for more than a year. In recent weeks, more reports of the arrival of a new Surface have surfaced, after images of the alleged tablet appeared on Amazon as part of a product range of cases. The tablet will probably have a screen diagonal of 7 or 8 inches and may come with a stylus. It is unknown whether it is a model with x86 or ARM processor.
