Microsoft Flight Simulator is available on Xbox One consoles via cloud gaming
Microsoft has made Flight Simulator available for cloud gaming through the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. The game is now also playable on Xbox One consoles and mobile devices for the first time.
From Tuesday, Flight Simulator will be available via Xbox Cloud Gaming, Microsoft reports. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription users can now stream the game on Xbox consoles, PCs, or through the apps for smartphones and tablets. That subscription costs 13 euros per month.
The cloud version of Flight Simulator is particularly relevant to owners of Xbox One consoles. The game cannot be installed on the One, One S and One X, but owners of the previous generation consoles will now still have the option to play the game.
Microsoft already announced the cloud version of Flight Simulator late last year, when the company made cloud gaming available for Xbox consoles. Microsoft then spoke of a release in early 2022.
