Microsoft has announced a new bundle for the Xbox One. The Xbox One Elite Bundle consists of a new version of the console that is equipped with an SSD with a storage capacity of 1TB. Microsoft is also announcing a new white wireless controller.

According to Microsoft, the solid state hybrid drive of the Xbox One from the bundle ensures that the system comes out of energy-saving mode 20 percent faster. However, the company does not disclose the size of the sshd’s flash cache. An sshd is a variant of a regular hard drive, but is equipped with an extra large amount of cache memory to allow fast booting of the operating system and applications. The hard drive of the regular Xbox One 1TB is a traditional model that does not have such a large flash cache.

The bundle also includes the Elite Wireless Controller. Microsoft will start selling the Xbox One Elite Bundle in November for $ 499, converted and with VAT that is 537 euros, although it is not known whether that will actually be the euro price. In addition to the bundle, Microsoft comes with a new white wireless controller, which is matte white with gold d-pad and rubber grip, but otherwise has all the functionality of the standard controller.
