The Windows 11 update has been available as a preview build since June. Therefore, it is no longer a surprise which parts and functionalities have been improved in Microsoft’s operating system. Task manager has been updated in this update. It is mainly about the appearance of task manager that is getting a makeover.

Furthermore, Microsoft has addressed the taskbar. For example, after installing the update, users can open apps by dragging them to the taskbar. The taskbar also gets an overflow function, which puts apps in a separate menu if there is no more space for an icon on the taskbar.
