Microsoft asks Xbox owners if they are missing PlayStation features in controller controller
In a survey, Microsoft asks owners of the Xbox Series X and S whether they are aware of the features of the PlayStation controller and whether they would like to have them on their Xbox controller. Sony’s DualSense controller for the PS5 has some unique features.
PlayStation question in Xbox poll
The question is in a survey sent to buyers of the new Xbox Series consoles, TechRadar writes. Microsoft doesn’t specifically mention the DualSense controller or the PlayStation 5, but does ask if players would like to see PlayStation controller features on their Xbox controller.
Sony’s DualSense controller is widely praised for its new additions. The adaptive triggers have adjustable resistance, allowing players to feel the tension of a bow, for example, and make shooting with different weapons feel different. Sony also uses large vibration motors for advanced haptic feedback. Microsoft also revamped its Xbox controller for the Xbox Series X and S, but it involves subtle changes, without the addition of new functionality. It is unknown if Microsoft plans to release another controller with new features. The survey does not necessarily indicate that. Such surveys are often set up to poll users’ opinions.
