Microsoft Announces Crackdown for Xbox One

Microsoft announced a new Crackdown for the Xbox One during the official E3 press conference in Los Angeles. The third game in the franchise is being developed by the same team that was behind the first game.

At the Microsoft press conference, only a CG trailer was shown showing multiple agents battling a top local criminal. The game will be titled Crackdown, just like the original game from 2007. According to David Jones, the lead developer of the first Crackdown, the game will be playable in full coop mode and the game will get a completely new multiplayer mode.

In addition to Crackdown, David Jones has also worked on Lemmings, Grand Theft Auto 1 and 2, and founded development studio DMA Design. When Crackdown will be released has not been announced. The game is exclusive to the Xbox One.
