Microsoft has released a new version of the Xbox Game Bar. The overlay software can now display the number of frames per second in games. Also, users get more choice for displaying performance of CPU and GPU and RAM.

The fps counter shows a graph of the number of frames per second being achieved and generates an average. With the new version of the Xbox Game Bar, users can make the Performance window transparent, adjust its color and choose which items to display.

Microsoft is also adding support for Achievements to the Xbox Game Bar. Gamers can call up an Achievements list with the push of a button and see, for example, how far they are from achieving a goal. Achievement notifications will now open in the Xbox Game Bar, instead of the Xbox Console Companion app.

The Xbox Game Bar can be called up in Windows 10 by pressing the Windows keys + G. According to Microsoft, the new version is available immediately. Users can update the app via the Microsoft Store if that doesn’t happen automatically.
