Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes requires at least a GeForce GTX 650
Developer Kojima Productions has provided more information about the system requirements of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. The PC version of the game requires at least a Core i5, 4GB of ram and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 650. AMD hardware is not mentioned by the developer.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has been on sale for the PlayStation and Xbox consoles since the spring, and the game will also be released for PC on December 18. Players must have at least the 64-bit version of Windows Vista to run the game.
In addition, an Intel Core i5 dual-core with support for HyperThreading and clock speed of 2.7GHz is required. Kojima reports that the Core i5 must be at least of the Sandy Bridge generation, but the developer does not say which AMD processor is required at least. For the graphics, according to the developer, at least an Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 is needed, but it is not known which AMD card is at least needed.
The minimum system requirements differ from the recommended system requirements in some respects. To get more out of the game, the presence of 8GB of ram is recommended in combination with a better video card, namely the GeForce GTX 760. It would then be possible to play with a 4k resolution. For better rendering, the aforementioned Core i5 would suffice and again Kojima does not mention AMD parts.
Ground Zeroes is the prologue to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The game should be released for consoles and PC in 2015. Ground Zeroes can be obtained from December 18, among other things via Steam.
