Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes is coming to PC on December 18
Konami has announced that the PC version of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes will be available on December 18. The Japanese publisher has also confirmed that the game supports 4k display, or a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels.
Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes has been available for consoles since spring and the PC version will go on sale December 18. Konami has only released the first two installments of the series for PC to date. According to the publisher, the shooter will receive a number of upgrades. For example, the game will support 4k display and some graphical properties will be examined, such as the lighting effects and the resolutions of the shadows.
Ground Zeroes is the prologue to Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, which is due out for consoles and PC in 2015. It is an open-world game where the player can complete a variety of missions and choose which direction to take, how to attack and who to rescue. The goal is to invade a Cuban prison for a rescue mission, but soon the protagonist finds himself alone behind enemy lines.
Developer Hideo Kojima announced at Gamescom this summer that both new Metal Gear Solid titles are coming to PC. Ground Zeroes can be obtained through the Steam download service. The developer has not yet disclosed any possible sale prices.
