Meizu unveils 5″ smartphone M2

Meizu has unveiled its new M2 smartphone. The budget device of the Chinese company has a 5 “screen with 720p resolution and 2GB lpddr3 ram. It runs on a modified version of Android 5.1, Flyme OS 4.5. There is also support for two SIM cards and 4G.

The Meizu M2 is on the manufacturer’s website. The device has dimensions of 140.1×68.9×8.7mm. There is a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. The processor is a MediaTek MT6735 quad-core with four Cortex A53 cores at 1.3GHz and additionally there is the Mali T720 MP2 GPU for the graphics calculations.

According to the manufacturer, the screen has a maximum brightness of 400cd/m² and the battery has a capacity of 2500mAh. The storage capacity of the M2 is 16GB. One of the SIM slots also serves as a slot that can accommodate a micro-SD card with a capacity of up to 128GB. Anyone who inserts a memory card therefore loses the dual SIM function. The availability and price of the M2 is not yet known. The device is currently not even available in Meizu’s own webshop Meizu Mart.
