Medion introduces convertible with 12.5″ screen
Medion has introduced a new convertible at the IFA fair. It has a 12.5″ screen, which can be placed on a kickstand. In addition, Medion introduces a new 13.3″ laptop with an aluminum housing.
The touch-sensitive screen of the P3401T convertible has a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. The device also has an Intel Core m7 processor of the Skylake generation, and can be equipped with up to 8GB of RAM and an SSD with a storage capacity of up to 512GB. As far as connection options are concerned, the convertible has a USB-C, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 port. Wi-Fi ac and bluetooth 4.1 are also present, in addition to a card reader. The operating time should be up to eight hours, reports Medion. The weight of the tablet is 1.17kg and the keyboard part weighs 830g.
The aluminum laptop has a thickness of 17 mm and has a 13.3 “screen with a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels. The processor of the S3409 is an Intel Core i7 from Intel’s Kaby Lake generation and the device can have a maximum of 8 GB of RAM. Storage is possible in the form of an SSD up to a capacity of 512 GB. The connection options consist of WiFi-AC and Bluetooth 4.1, a USB-C connection, two USB 3.0 ports, a card reader and an HDMI connection. battery should last for up to seven hours.The weight of the laptop is 1.5 kg. Medion previously announced a similar model, but according to Heise.de, this has never become available.
The P3401T convertible will be available from the fourth quarter of this year for a starting price of 799 euros. The S3409 laptop also has a price from 799 euros and will be available in the same period. The price of possible configurations is not yet known.
