Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Gets Intel XeSS Support
Nixxes adds Intel XeSS to Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered for PC. This upscaling technique was released by Intel late last month. In addition, the studio is adding the ability to link Steam and PSN accounts to the game for in-game perks.
Intel XeSS can be enabled after the update via the image settings of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and also works with video cards from Nvidia and AMD. In addition, AMD FSR has been updated to version 2.1.1 and says Nixxes that Nvidia DLSS 3 will follow soon. Also, according to the Utrecht Nixxes, the game can now use more vram.
The update also makes it optional to link Steam and PSN accounts to the game. Players who do this will receive a number of perks, such as access to the Resilient Suit and the Concussive Blast Gadget. In addition, players with linked accounts will receive two skill points. The update also contains a number of bug fixes.
Intel released Xe Super Sampling in late September. As with Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR, it is a technique for temporal upscaling. XeSS also appeared in games like Death Stranding and Shadow of the Tomb Raider last month. In addition, Intel XeSS is expected in titles such as Hitman III, Ghostwire Tokyo and the upcoming shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
