Marketing renders of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus come out
Official-looking images of what will likely be Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus have surfaced. The two devices look alike, although the Note 5 is slightly wider. It can also be seen that the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus gets bigger than its predecessor.
The images are online set by Evan Blass, who is often the first to publish unannounced smartphones via his Twitter account. The images show the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus side by side; two as yet unannounced smartphones from Samsung that were previously mentioned in rumors. Also, rather unclear images of it leaked out.
The images published by Blass are probably official marketing renders that Samsung wants to use for the release. It is therefore obvious that the actual announcement is not long in coming. The Korean manufacturer is expected to officially unveil both smartphones on August 13.
The images also show that the two smartphones are about the same height and that they have strong similarities in appearance. However, as expected, the Note 5 is slightly wider. Judging by the proportions, the S6 Edge Plus is larger than its predecessor, something that was also mentioned in rumors.
