Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit gets free update with new environments
Nintendo released an update for Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit on Thursday. The update for the AR game is free and adds new environments, among other things. It is the first update for the game to include new content.
The 1.1.0 update will be downloaded automatically when players start the game. Nintendo has added a Mario Cup to the game and the release notes state that this cup has three new environments. Although you race through your own living room in the game, virtual elements in certain themes are shown during the race. With this update, there will be more variation in this.
In addition, Yoshi items for the karts have also been added. The physical karts of Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit allow you to drive only with Mario or Luigi, but the karts can be changed in appearance in the game. Including now also a Yoshi look
New obstacles can also be seen on the Nintendo Japan website. The image shows how barrels roll over the track. The barrels will most likely cause your kart to come to a stop if you hit it.
Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit was released for the Nintendo Switch last October. The game lets you drive through your living room with physical controllable karts. Using augmented reality, a Nintendo Switch console can race against someone who also owns the game and against computer-controlled opponents.
