After AMD’s announcement of the Ryzen 3000 processors, manufacturers are announcing their AM4 motherboards with the new X570 chipset. Asus, MSI, ASRock and Gigabyte, among others, are releasing new motherboards.

The X570 chipset can handle up to sixteen PCI-e 4.0 lanes, twelve SATA 600 ports and eight USB 3.2 Gen2 interfaces, AMD announced at the announcement of the Ryzen 3000 processors. The chipset also supports second-generation Ryzen chips.

Gigabyte releases seven X570 motherboards in the Aorus line. These are the X570 Aorus Xtreme, Ultra, Elite, Pro, X and X705I Pro. Gigabyte itself highlights the Xtreme, a motherboard with sixteen-phase power supply and three m2 slots based on PCI-e 4.0.

ASRock adds several X570 motherboards to its range, of which the high-end Taichi and the Phantom Gaming X are now on the site. The manufacturer uses Phison controllers for the pci-e 4.0 x4 nvme m2 slots of its motherboards. The Phantom Gaming X has, among other things, a metal backplate and reinforced PCI-e slots.

The Asus lineup of X570 motherboards consists of ROG Crosshair VIII models like the Formula, Hero and Impact. In addition, the company is releasing the Strix X570-E, -F, and -I, while the Plus and Plus with Wifi also appear in the TUF Gaming X570 series. Interesting is the Strix X570-I Gaming, as this is a mini-itx board with the X570 chipset. A slightly longer motherboard than that model is the equally compact Crosshair VIII Impact with mini-DTX form factor. The most comprehensive board is the ROG Crosshair VIII Formula which includes support for Aura Sync lighting.

MSI introduces a large number of X570 motherboards in its Enthusiast Gaming, Elite Gaming, Professional Gaming, Prestige and Pro series. There will also be an X570 board in the Godlike line, which will feature MSI’s most prestigious motherboards. The MSI MEG X570 Godlike has, among other things, a VRM design with 14 + 4 + 1 phases, an OLED screen and Frozr cooling.
