Once again, a manufacturer has shown a new Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 variant. Manli has put this map online. The big difference is that this new variant has 8GB of GDDR6 memory and a smaller memory bus than the existing RTX 3060 model.

The specifications of the GeForce RTX 3060 8GB have surfaced at video card manufacturer Manli, also noted tech website VideoCardz. The video card is largely identical to the existing GeForce RTX 3060; for example, the video card has the same GPU with 3584 CUDA cores. The card also features the same cooler as the existing Manli GeForce RTX 3060 12GB.

The main difference is that the new model with 8GB of memory has less VRAM than the existing RTX 3060, which has 12GB of GDDR6 memory. Remarkably enough, the 128-bit memory bus is also less wide than before; the current RTX 3060 has a 192bit memory bus. As a result, the maximum bandwidth of the new model has also been reduced, from 360GB/s to 240GB/s.

Since the beginning of September, there have been rumors that Nvidia will a new gpus would come, including this GeForce RTX 3060 with 8GB of memory. In addition, a new RTX 3060 Ti variant with faster GDDR6X memory appeared this month.
