Maingear builds curved 34″ gaming aio with 18-core Xeon and Titan X

The American game hardware manufacturer Maingear has announced the Alpha 34 during CES. The all-in-one has a curved 34″ screen with a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels and is available with different hardware configurations.

The simplest version of Maingears Alpha 34 is based on Intel’s Z170 platform and integrates a Core i3 processor, 8GB RAM and a Radeon R7 360X video card in the curved 34″ screen. Of course there are also faster processors of the Skylake generation. but you can also opt for a system based on Intel’s X99 platform, which includes Haswell-E processors, but also Xeons, up to and including the 18-core E5-2699V3.

The simplest video card in the Alpha 34 is a Radeon R7 360X, but for those who want to use their Alpha 34 for games, there is also a choice of faster GPUs, including AMD’s R9 Nano and the Nvidia GTX Titan X. For professional 3D work, there is choice of AMD FirePro and Nvidia Quadro graphics cards. To cool all that hardware, Maingear has developed its own water cooler.

The cheapest configuration of the Alpha 34, with a Core i3 processor, 8GB of memory and an R7 M360X video card, costs two thousand US dollars. Those who go for the most expensive option with an 18-core Xeon processor, a GTX Titan X video card and 512GB Samsung 950 Pro SSD will exceed ten thousand dollars.
