LogMeIn is depositing a total of $125 million for LastPass. The LastPass team notes that services for customers continue to be developed and improved, across the Free, Premium and Enterprise offerings.

According to LogMeIn, the plan includes integrating Meldium features into LastPass. Meldium is a password manager for teams, acquired by the company in September 2014. Both products would continue under the LastPass brand in the long term.

LogMeIn is a provider of remote access services. The software developer was founded in 2003 and for a long time was especially popular with its free remote access package, but the company stopped doing this at the beginning of last year. Online password management service LastPass suffered a major intrusion into its servers over the summer. The damage was ultimately not that bad, but confidence in the service was dented.
