Logitech will release 5.1 living room speaker set with Bluetooth and FM radio in November
Logitech will release the Z607 surround system on November 23. This 5.1 speaker set is not so much intended for use with the PC, but mainly for use in the living room. Bluetooth and FM radio are supported and the Z607 has long cables for ease of placement.
Logitech reports that the rear two satellite speakers of the Z607 system have a cable with a length of 6.2 meters, which according to the manufacturer makes it easier to place in the living room. The front three speakers have cables with a length of 2.2 meters.
The Z607 speaker set is formed by a 25W subwoofer and the five satellite speakers have a total power of 55W rms. This brings the total power to 80W rms or a peak power of 160W. The satellite speakers measure 110x93x178mm and weigh 0.42kg, while the subwoofer measures 193x267x297mm and weighs 3.33kg.
In addition to Bluetooth 4.2, there is an input for RCA cables, a 3.5 mm connection, a USB port and SD cards are also supported. The Z607 comes with a remote control and will be released on November 23 for 129 euros.
