Logitech has announced the Pro Wireless, a wireless mouse with which the company mainly targets gamers. The mouse has the new Hero 16K sensor and has a suggested retail price of 149 euros.

The Hero 16K sensor ensures that the Logitech Pro Wireless has a sensitivity of 100 to 16,000 dpi. The button to adjust the dpi value is on the bottom of the mouse. Furthermore, the Pro Wireless supports the wireless LightSpeed technology, which, according to the manufacturer, reduces the delay as much as possible. Wireless charging via a mouse pad with PowerPlay is also possible. The battery should last 48 hours on a single charge. If the battery is empty, the supplied cable can be used.

A characteristic feature of the Logitech Pro Wireless is the fact that the mouse weighs only 80 grams. The manufacturer does not supply small weights to adjust the weight to your own preference. The buttons on the side can be removed and moved to the other side, so that both left and right-handed users can use them. In total, the mouse has six programmable buttons, with the left and right buttons having to last fifty million clicks. The new wireless mouse is expected to be available sometime in August and will have a suggested retail price of 149 euros.

Logitech has also upgraded the existing wired Logitech Pro Gaming mouse, claims The Verge. This mouse would have the Hero 16K sensor and get a more flexible cable. The price would remain the same. It is now 70 euros in the Benelux.

Update, Wednesday 29 August: That the Logitech Pro Gaming will receive an update, writes The Verge, but this has not been officially announced by Logitech. The article has been adapted accordingly.
