Logitech Releases First Vertical Mouse in MX Series
Logitech announces the MX Vertical, the manufacturer’s first vertical mouse. The design should relieve the user’s wrist. Other manufacturers have been making such mice for some time. Logitech will release its variant in September for 109 euros.
The Logitech MX Vertical has an angle of 57 degrees. Apart from the angle, the mouse looks a lot like the other MX models from the manufacturer. For example, users can rest their thumb on top of the mouse, where there is a button to adjust the mouse’s dpi setting. Logitech provides the MX Vertical with a sensor that supports up to 4000dpi. The sensitivity is adjustable in steps of 50dpi.
The weight of the wireless mouse is 135 grams. Logitech supplies a unifying receiver that needs to be plugged into a USB port. It is also possible to connect the mouse via bluetooth, or with a usb-c cable. The built-in 240mAh battery in the MX Vertical is also charged via the USB-C connection on the front.
The MX Vertical is not the first mouse of its kind. Several other manufacturers, including R-Go Tools and Anker, already have vertical mice in their range. Logitech will release its variant in September for a suggested retail price of 109 euros.
