Logitech Introduces Zone True Wireless Earbuds with Bluetooth Multipoint
Logitech introduces wireless earphones that work with a USB receiver and bluetooth. Both connections can be used simultaneously. Logitech aims at the business market with the 329 euro Zone True Wireless Earbuds.
Logitech includes a USB-A receiver and a USB-C adapter. This allows the earphones to be wirelessly connected to almost any computer. The USB receiver works with Bluetooth 5.0 and according to Logitech has a range of thirty meters. There is also support for Bluetooth Multipoint so that you can switch between two sound sources. The earphones can therefore be connected to a computer and a smartphone at the same time.
The Zone True Wireless Earbuds have active noise cancellation and a charging case that can be charged wirelessly with a Qi charger. According to the manufacturer, the battery in the earphones is good for a talk time of six hours if ANC is switched on. According to Logitech, the Zone True Wireless Earbuds have been certified by Microsoft, Google and Zoom for use with their video conferencing software.
In addition to the wireless earphones, Logitech also introduces the Zone Wired Earbuds. That wired variant can be connected to a 3.5mm jack, USB-A or USB-C. This version does not have active noise cancellation, but does have a noise-canceling microphone. The Logitech Zone True Wireless and Zone Wired Earbuds will be on sale from the fall, for suggested retail prices of 329 and 109 euros respectively.
