Logitech comes with two new Artemis Spectrum gaming headsets, the G933 and the G633 with foldable microphone. The headsets succeed the G930 and the G630. Both headphones come with a 3.5mm or a micro USB connection. The G933 also has a wireless option.

The company developed its own speaker, the Pro G. The speaker would use a new material for the speaker cone. The sound would therefore suffer less from disturbance and sound clearer. Two systems can be addressed for surround sound: Dolby Headphone 7.1 and DTS Headphone X. The latter option is not yet included in the special Logitech software and will be added later. Also, using the surround options requires a Windows system as proprietary Logitech software is required. OS X and Linux PCs can still use the headsets, but without surround options.

The headphones feature ‘Spectrum RGB’ LED lighting on the sides of the earcups. The colors can be set via Logitech’s gaming software. There are also several programmable G-keys on the ear cup. Owners of a G910 Orion Spark keyboard and G303 Daedalus Apex mouse can set the same colors on all three devices at will.

The G633 will first hit the market around mid-September for $150. If you want to wait a month longer and pay an extra $50, you can get the G933 in October. The battery of the wireless G933 should be able to last up to 12 hours without the light on. Euro prices are not yet known.
