Logitech announces keyboard cover with trackpad for iPads
Manufacturer Logitech has announced a keyboard accessory for iPads with a trackpad in it. Trackpad support is in iPadOS 13.4, which is due out next week. Logitech’s case will be available in two months.
The case is available for the seventh-generation iPad, third-generation iPad Air and the 2017 iPad Pro 10.5, Logitech says. The case uses the Smart Connector on iPads as a hardware connection to the tablet.
The case’s keyboard has six rows; the top row has a series of keys with shortcuts for system functions. It’s the first accessory with a third-party trackpad; Apple announced its own version earlier in the day on Wednesday. The keyboard cover will be released in two months for $150. The manufacturer has not yet announced a price in euros.
