Listing shows Nvidia GTX 1650 video card getting 4GB vram
Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1650 video card gets 4GB of vram. This is apparent from a reference to an MSI variant at the Eurasian Economic Commission. According to previous rumors, the GTX 1650 will be announced on April 30.
The listing of MSI’s GTX 1650 Gaming X 4G on the EEC website was noticed by VideoCardz. More than the name is not known, but the 4G designation makes it clear that it is a video card with 4GB vram. Probably that is gddr5, just like the GTX 1660 that came out last week.
There have been rumors for a long time about the arrival of the GTX 1650; the reference to the EEC is confirmation that the card is coming. In late February, the Taiwanese newspaper Digitimes claimed that the GTX 1650 would be announced on April 30. The newspaper also mentioned that the GTX 1660 would be unveiled on March 15, which turned out to be a day earlier.
The exact specifications of the GTX 1650 are not yet known. Presumably the card is based on a small TU117 GPU. The suggested retail price would be $179, converted with VAT that is about 191 euros. GTX 1660 video cards are currently on sale from 235 euros.
