Life is Strange: True Colors will be released as a single game on September 10. Previous parts in the series were divided into episodes, which appeared one after the other. In True Colors, players with lead actor Alex Chen can feel the emotions of other characters.

In Life is Strange: True Colors, Alex Chen arrives in Haven Springs, an American mountain town in the state of Colorado. As in other Life is Strange games, the protagonist has special powers. Chen can sense, absorb and manipulate the emotions of other characters. Gamers can see the emotions of other characters through an aura that surrounds the other characters. When players try to feel the strong emotions of other characters, these emotions can take over Chen.

When Chen arrives in Haven Springs, her brother is killed in what is called an accident. However, Chen thinks there’s more to it. In True Colors, players must harness Chen’s powers and try to uncover the truth about her brother’s death.

Deck Nine Games is the developer of True Colors. This studio was also responsible for Life is Strange: Before the Storm. Deck Nine Games vice president Jeff Litchford says the studio has made strides in storytelling, development and voice acting. Life is Strange: True Colors will be released on September 10 for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series consoles, on PC and on Stadia.

Square Enix also announced that it is working on a Life is Strange Remastered Collection. This includes polished versions of Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm, with improved graphics and animations. It will appear “later this year” as a standalone or in the Ultimate Edition of True Colors.
