Life is Strange game Double Exposure with Max Caulfield will be released on October 29

Square Enix has announced a new Life is Strange game. Double Exposure stars Max Caulfield, the main character from the first game, again. The game will be released on October 29.

Publisher Square Enix is ​​working with developer Deck Nine. The companies showed Sunday night a trailer for the game during the Xbox Showcase. Life is Strange: Double Exposure is a new story that revolves around a visibly aging Max Caulfield, who also starred in the original 2015 game. Max discovered in that first part that she could turn back time. Players had to use that gameplay element to solve puzzles, although Life is Strange is primarily a narrative game where the story and player choices are most important.

In the new part, Max has to use her powers again when it turns out that her friend has died. That friend is Safi and not Chloe, the other main character from the first part. Max discovers that she can travel through parallel timelines and must use this ability to save Safi.

The game will be released on October 29 for the Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
