Life is Strange developer comes with new game Tell Me Why
Dontnod, the developer of the episodic game Life is Strange, is working on a new title. Tell Me Why is a mysterious story, according to the makers, with the twins Tyler and Alyson in the lead role. The game is about their bond and their memories.
Tell Me Why is set in a small Alaskan town. The playable characters are the twins Tyler and Alyson Ronan. The special bond they have and the way they experience memories is the most important part of the game, according to the makers. Choices players make in the game affect the strength of the twins’ mutual bond.
Dontnod is developing the game in partnership with Xbox Game Studios and has also collaborated with US LGBT advocacy group Glaad. The character Tyler is transgender and the partnership is set up to represent that authentically. Microsoft is backing the game as part of its Gaming for Everyone initiative.
Tell Me Why is an episodic game that consists of three parts. The makers promise to come up with a clear schedule so that players know when to expect new chapters. The whole story should be released in the summer of 2020. Tell Me Why is available for Windows on Steam and the Microsoft Store. The game will also be released for Xbox One and will be part of the Game Pass subscription.
