Life is Strange comes to iOS
Square Enix has released Life is Strange for iOS. The first three parts of the episodic game are now available for iPhones and iPads. The last two episodes will appear early next year and there will also be an Android version.
The iOS version of Life is Strange works on Apple devices running iOS 10.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone 5s and iPad Air or later. The first episode is for sale for 3.49 euros. The other episodes can be purchased from the app.
Life is Strange was previously released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game tells the story of young college student Maxine Caulfield from the fictional Oregon town of Arcadia Bay. Maxine experiences a disastrous vision, in the form of a kind of daydream in which a gigantic tornado threatens to destroy Arcadia Bay. The game is based on the so-called Butterfly effect.
Dontnod, the game’s developer, is working on a sequel to the game. When announcing it in May, the studio said it had sold three million copies of Life is Strange. This year, Life is Strange: Before the Storm came out. That’s a three-episode prequel made by another studio.
