LG will present smaller variant G6 smartphone with 18:9 screen next week
LG will probably present the Q6 next week, a smaller variant of its G6 smartphone. According to previous rumors, the phone has a 5.4″ screen with an 18:9 ratio, compared to the 5.7″ display of the regular G6.
LG mentions the name Q6 in an invitation that a telecom journalist has on Twitter set. Although LG has previously released a budget smartphone called Q6, this time it would be a mid-range phone with the design and screen ratio of the G6, which came out earlier this year.
The Q6 is rumored to have a 5.4″ LCD with an unknown resolution and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821-soc, just like the larger G6. The relative screen size would be 80 percent like the G6. not be on the Q6 and LG would put 3GB of memory in it, instead of 4GB with the G6.
If the rumors are true, it is the second G6 variant that the manufacturer announces. The G6+ was previously released in some countries, a version with 128GB of storage and a quad-dac, which is only available in the South Korean version with the regular G6.
LG releases different variants of its most important devices every year. There was a G5 SE and a G4c. The G6 came out a few months ago.
