LG unveils 65-inch rollable OLED TV
LG has announced a 65″ rollable OLED TV for the upcoming CES show. The company previously showed an 18″ rollable model, but it has never managed to produce such a large and rollable TV before. . For the time being, it is probably a prototype.
The roll-up television is being shown on the CES show floor, but the information has already been sent to several US media outlets, including Engadget. The screen is known to have a 65″ diagonal with UHD resolution, is of the OLED type, and that it can be rolled up completely, but otherwise little has been announced about the specifications.
A few years ago, LG already showed an 18-inch OLED TV that could be rolled up. In the middle of last year, LG showed a 77-inch OLED panel that can be rolled up, but it has not yet been used for a television. The advantage of such a flexible panel is that it takes up much less space when it is rolled up.
The manufacturer may release more information about the specifications of the television during CES. Whether there will also be a release date and price is not yet clear, as it is probably still a prototype. LG has not previously announced rollable televisions that are intended to be placed in the shops.
