LG shows 240Hz ultrawide with OLED panel and monitor with automatic monitor arm

LG announces new monitors, including a new UltraGear ultrawide. That monitor will have a curved OLED panel with a refresh rate of 240Hz. The company is also introducing an Ergo AI monitor with a monitor arm that automatically adjusts its orientation.

The LG UltraGear 45GR95QE will have a screen diagonal of 45″ and a screen resolution of 3440×1440 pixels. The manufacturer advertises a GTG response time of 0.1ms and support for HDR10, although LG does not disclose whether the monitor will receive a DisplayHDR or DisplayHDR True Black certification. according to LG, show 98.5 percent of the DCI-P3 color space.

This oledultrawide also gets two HDMI 2.1 ports and an 800R curvature. The latter means that the curvature would form a radius of 800mm when calculated to a full circle. The display comes with a monitor stand that is adjustable in height and can be tilted and a remote control. LG will not announce when the monitor will be released or what it will cost.

UltraFine Display Ergo AI with automatic monitor arm

LG is also introducing a Ergo AI monitor. This will have a 31.5″ IPS panel with a 4k resolution. This screen comes standard on a monitor arm that can adjust itself. According to LG, the monitor analyzes the user’s posture with a built-in camera. height and tilt of the screen can be ‘subtly adjusted.’ The monitor has three modes: AI Motion, Continuous Motion and Periodic Motion.

The screen also has a refresh rate of 60Hz and can show 95 percent of the DCI-P3 spectrum. This monitor also supports HDR10, although LG does not advertise a DisplayHDR certification here either. The screen is not curved and has two built-in speakers for stereo sound. It is unknown what the Ergo AI monitor will cost or when it will be released.
