LG reveals the arrival of bendable Flex 2 smartphone
LG is coming with a successor for its bendable G Flex smartphone. The manufacturer shows the device on a poster at the Consumer Electronics Show, but no further details have been announced. Sony similarly announced a new Walkman smartphone.
The Verge noted that LG is announcing the G Flex 2 via a poster at CES. The image shows that the Korean manufacturer more or less opts for the same bendable design as its predecessor, the G Flex. No further details have been disclosed yet. It is obvious that they will come later, when CES is open and LG makes its announcements.
With the poster, LG confirms previous rumors about a successor to the bendable smartphone. Qualcomm already revealed that a smartphone will be announced during CES with the Snapdragon 800-soc; the image showed that it is a flexible LG smartphone. If the messages are correct, then LG opts for a relatively outdated processor: most high-end smartphones already have the 801 or 805 variant while the 810 is approaching.
Meanwhile, Sony has revealed that it will again come with a Walkman device, also by hanging a poster at CES. The Walkman logo is clearly visible on this, but again, further details are missing, which will probably be shown later at CES.
